Happiness: What we all wish for: Part 2
 
Dear all,
Since my birthday is in January, I am lucky that the oh-it-seems-to-be-epidemic- New-Year-doldrums don't get the better of me so I wish for anyone out there who might tentatively be falling into that category, oodles of love and happiness...
I am glad to tell you that I have been busy compiling the second part of the 'happiness' workshop. It is such a pleasure to be concentrating on Matthieu Ricard's book and another called 16 Guidelines for a happy life - to offer you remedies...

And so to the next workshop... It's going to be a great day.... It's all so obvious of course, but to actually spend time considering what happiness is and looking at our negative emotions and the antidotes is extremely uplifting and beneficial. I urge any of you, myself most of all, to attend. 
 
HAPPINESS: WHAT WE ALL WISH FOR
 
This particular day's theme will concentrate on looking at
    •     jealousy and rejoicing and
    •    attachment  versus contentment
    •    We will also consider HOW WE ACT.
    •     It is loosely following Matthieu Ricard's book on happiness with his permission and 16 guidelines for a happy life. 
    •    We might include a Psychology of Vision process because some people miss them but I am not sure. Basically, the day will follow its own natural course and go with the moment.
    •    It goes without saying that meditation and reflection will be a large component.
 
Please know that you will leave feeling a lot different from when you arrive... Remember to come with as open a heart as possible to really access that inner state of joy.
 
* Please also bring pen and paper to make notes and a vegetarian lunch to share!
