It is with the greatest pleasure that the Canterbury Tibet Link wishes to invite you to join us on February 13th for, what seems to be becoming, our annual losar party. This is Tibetan New Year and we are raising funds for the Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation. This supports many different causes. In the main, it supports children, some found abandoned in gutters in Nepal and taken into orphanages where they are offered a home and education. It also supports the preservation of Tibetan culture through the translation of rare Tibetan texts and many other good causes .

If you would like to join us, we would love to welcome you at 7.30pm for sustaining and delicious harira soup and a delectable pudding. We would also like to ask you to bring the drink you would like to drink and one beautiful or useful present for our ‘bring and buy’. That means we would request you to buy something useful or beautiful to take away... The charge for this would be £10 for most, £15 if you’re feeling wealthy and £8 if funds are truly tight.

If you are able to come and join us for such a good cause, please let us know asap. Knowing is essential so we don’t over-cater and waste precious funds which could be used for a much better purpose.
